Parents Coffee Morning

The Bridge Mentoring Plus Scheme is a Bridgend town based charity that delivers training for the local community. The team are currently delivering training for parents to help develop skills. Car Treasure Hunt

Porthcawl Sea Festival Event

Come along to Porthcawl sea front between 11am and 6pm to enjoy an action packed day. There'll be loads of stalls with an Italian market. There'll also be a variety of displays and demonstrations, a hog roast, punch and judy shows, teddy bear's picnic, children's rides, along with a full range of entertainment for all the family. Charity 7's Rugby

Ev's 7's was initially started by John Evans in memory of his son Andrew, who sadly died at a young age. All money raised goes to local charities in the Sarn, Ynysawdre and Aberkenfig area. The 7's kick off is at 10.30am. There'll be loads of fun with a bouncy castle, bucking bronco, hog roast and food stalls at Pandy Park in Ynyaswdre. Everyone's welcome!

Porthcawl Ghost talk and walk

Enjoy a Spooktacular evening listening to the history and hauntings of Nottage in Porthcawl. It'll be followed by a walk down an enchanted lane. Starts at the Swan Inn, Nottage at 6pm. Y Bont Charity Fun Day

Help raise funds for disabled pre-school children's charity, Y Bont. There'll be a fair ground rides, face painting, Disney characters, fire engine, toys, games and kids crafts! There'll also be loads of stall, a raffle and much more. The day includes a football competition. It's on between 8am and 8pm at Pencoed Comprehensive School!

V2C and Adult Community Learning are holding an activity event at Caerau Development Trust, Woodland Terrace, Caerau. It's your chance to have a go at free running, street dancing, MC'ing/DJ'ing,IT, hanging basket demonstrations and much more! It's on between 11am and 3pm and it's free entry!

Care Industry Open Information Day

Bridgend Communities First are holding an open information day from 10am at Maesteg Job Centre. The information day will lead to an interview with a local employer. It's part of the Bridgend Employment and Skills Project alonside Bridgend County Borough Council's Adult Community Learning and the Department for Working Pensions. The aim is to support people to acquire the appropriate skills to become job ready and to gain sustainable employment. For further details, call 01656 642368.

Children's Hate Crime Workshop

Organised in partnership with Bridgend Communities First, Halo Leisure and 'show racism the red card'. This hate crime workshop will be held between 10am and 2pm at the Ogmore Valley Life Centre. Hate crimes are any crimes that are targeted at a person because of hostility or prejudice towards that person/'s disability, race or ethnicity, religion or belief, sexual orientation or transgender identity. The workshop will show young children what hate crime is and how to stop it. It's free to all children registered on Halo Leisure's Summer playscheme. Summer Family Day at Maesteg Celtic RFC

Join the fun with free entry and free parking at Maesteg Celtic RFC's Summer family day between 11am and 5pm. There'll be circus acts, BMX track and maintenance, craft stalls, information stalls, character mascots, fair rides, face painting, nail art, tattoos, disco and live music. Join in and support special families in Maesteg! Raising awareness and funds to support local families with disabled children living in the Llynfi Valley and surrounding areas.

Family Fun Day in Bettws

Join in all the fun at the Sardis, Bettws near the Odd Fellows Pub between 11am and 3pm. There'll be lots of children's activities including a bouncy castle, face painting, coconut shy, football shoot and much more. There'll also be a raffle, tombola and refreshments. Bring your dog to the fun dog show too! Money raised will be donated to Bettws Community Choir.

Cornelly Village Fete

Lots of fun for all in and around Cornelly Community Centre. There'll be a range of activities, crafts, stalls, games, freebies, inflatable fun and plenty of refreshments with free entry to the public!

Glaze Rugby 7's and Family Fun Day!

On Saturday 2nd August a touch rugby 7's tournament will be held at kenfig hill rfc to raise funds and awareness for glaze prostate cymru. there will also be a family fun day taking place, with lots of activities to keep the children entertained, followed by live music to end what we hope to be a successful day. this event is one of many events organised to help 5 kenfig hill rugby players reach a target of £20,000 before climbing mount kilimanjaro in africa this october for prostate cymru. to make a donation text: khrc99 followed by your chosen donation to 70070. A night of Musical Theatre in North Cornelly

Cornelly Development Trust presents a night of Musical Theatre at Cornelly Community Centre. Performed by Whitelady Productions. Tickets are £4 (£3 concessions) and £2.50 child.
